EASTER DRAMA

For twenty-five years the Easter Drama Ministry of Amite Baptist Church has brought countless blessings to our church, to our community, and to others from all areas. However, the general sense of the leadership team is that God is calling us to embrace a time of rest and spiritual renewal. Therefore, the decision has been made to step back from presenting the Easter Drama this year (2012). Let us join together is seeking God’s face, God’s will, and God’s fullest blessings upon our lives and upon the ongoing ministries of our church. Please understand, this decision was not made lightly. The decision making process included the director, church ministry staff, and leaders of the Easter Drama teams. With confident faith, we anticipate God doing great things through our church. Remember the timeless exhortation of William Carey – the Father of Modern Missions – “Attempt great things for God; expect great things from God!”
